DESCRIPTION:\n \n THE 49th PORTAGE RIVER TOUR&nbsp\;starts at 
 Woodmore High School in Elmore Ohio and follows th
 e meandering Portage River from its beginnings in 
 Wood County toward Lake Erie. This is flat country
  - the biggest hill? a highway overpass. With rout
 es of 10\, 32 and new and improved 64 miles\, it o
 ffers distances for all riders - novice to expert.
  The family friendly 10 Mile route is mostly on th
 e paved rail trail. Routes are marked with pavemen
 t arrows. SAG service is available for emergencies
  or non-repairable breakdowns.\n \n WHERE:&nbsp\;T
 he Village of Elmore is located 25 miles SE of Tol
 edo in Ottawa County\, at exit #81 on the Ohio Tur
 npike (I-80). Registration at Woodmore High School
 \, 633 Fremont Street\, Elmore\, OH 43416-9737\n \
 n WHEN:&nbsp\;Sunday June 28th. &nbsp\;Registratio
 n from 7 to 10 am. &nbsp\;Longer distance riders s
 hould start early. &nbsp\;Riders must complete the
 ir rides by 4 pm.\n \n GPS FILES &amp\; MAPS:&nbsp
 \;You can download GPS files and print maps from R
 ideWithGPS once the routes are confirmed. &nbsp\;P

 e request during registration.\n \n FOOD:&nbsp\;Lu
 nch for all riders at Portage River Festival in El
 more&rsquo\;s Ory Park\, served by Elmore Historic
 al Society. Fruit\, snacks and drinks at rest stop

 is St.\n \n CHILDREN&nbsp\;are encouraged to parti
 cipate to the extent of their abilities. Parent or
  guardian must sign release form for riders under 
 age 18. Those under 16 must be accompanied by a re
 sponsible adult.\n \n PORTAGE RIVER FESTIVAL&nbsp\
 ;in Elmore&rsquo\;s Ory Park - activities for the 
 whole family.\n \n LODGING:&nbsp\;Nearest motels i
 n Fremont\, Perrysburg and Bowling Green. Camping 
 is permitted in Elmore&rsquo\;s Ory Park on Saturd
 ay night\, June 27th. Campers must depart from the
  park by 8:30AM Sunday morning.\n \n HELMETS:&nbsp
 \;All riders are required to wear an ANSI/Snell/CP
 SC approved helmet while riding.\n \n SAFETY:&nbsp
 \;Ohio law regards the bicycle as a vehicle. The s
 ame rules apply to a bicyclist or a motorist. This
  means riding WITH traffic\, stopping at all stop 
 signs and red lights and giving hand signals to in
 dicate turns. Be courteous to motorists and move t
 o the right in single file to permit vehicles to p
