DESCRIPTION:THE METROPARKS BICYCLE TOUR offers you the opportu
 nity to visit up to four scenic\, wooded\, Toledo 
 Metroparks and view the historic Maumee River. The
 re are three routes: a 15 mile route through Oak O
 penings\; a 31 mile route to Fallen Timbers Monume
 nt\, Oak Openings and Farnsworth Metroparks\; and 
 a 62 mile route which also goes to Secor Park. SAG
  service is available for emergencies or non-repai
 rable breakdowns.\n \n WHERE: The tour begins at F
 allen Timbers Middle School at 6119 Finzel Rd. in 
 Whitehouse\, Ohio . From I-475\, exit to US-24 tow
 ards the south west (towards Napoleon). At exit #6
 3\, take OH-64 toward Whitehouse. Finzel is the fi
 rst right at the turning circle off OH-64. The sch
 ool is 1 mile ahead on right.\n \n WHEN: Saturday\
 , July 18th. Registration from 7 to 10 am. Longer 
 distance riders should start early. &nbsp\;Riders 
 must complete their rides by 4 pm.\n \n GPS FILES 
 &amp\; MAPS:&nbsp\;You can download GPS files and 
 print maps from RideWithGPS once the routes are co
 nfirmed. &nbsp\;Printed maps will be available at 
 the start. &nbsp\;\n \n FOOD: Snack stops on all r
 outes. Lunch for the 62 mile and 31 mile riders in
  the park along the beautiful\, tranquil Maumee Ri
 ver at Farnsworth Metropark.\n \n CHILDREN are enc
 ouraged to participate to the extent of their abil
 ities. Parent or guardian must sign release form f
 or riders under age 18. Those under 16 must be acc
 ompanied by a responsible adult.\n \n LODGING: Hot
 els and campsites: Metroparks Tour Accommodations.
 pdf\n \n HELMETS: All riders are required to wear 
 an ANSI/Snell/CPSC approved helmet while riding.\n
  \n SAFETY: Ohio law regards the bicycle as a vehi
 cle. The same rules that apply to motorists also a
 pply to bicyclists. This means riding WITH traffic
 \, obeying all stop signs and traffic lights and g
 iving hand signals to indicate turns. Be courteous
  to pedestrians and motorists and move to the righ
 t in single file to permit vehicles to pass. Your 
 Safety is your responsibility.\n \n REGISTRATION: 
 Pre-register on-line by midnight Thursday\, July 1
 6th: 15 mile - $15 &amp\; 31/64 mile - $35. Day-of
  registration will be available at a higher fee: 1
 5 mile - $20 &amp\; 31/62 mile - $40. Pre-register
