Portage River Bicycle Tour 2018

The 42nd Annual Portage River Tour will start at Woodmore High School in Elmore and wind through rural, mostly flat northwest Ohio.

The 42nd Annual Portage River Tour follows the meandering Portage River from its beginning in Wood County toward Lake Erie. This is flat country - biggest hill, a highway overpass. With routes of 10, 31, 62 and 100 miles, it offers distances for all riders - novice to expert. The family friendly 10 Mile route is mostly on paved roads or off-road trails.  Map and marked routes with pavement arrows. SAG service for emergencies or non-repairable breakdowns. 

Day-of registration and check-in: 7am to 11am, Sunday, June 24.  Longer distance riders should start early.

Lunch for all riders at Portage River Festival in Elmore's Ory Park, served by the Elmore Historical Society.  Fruit, snacks and drinks at rest stops on all routes.  Route change and new food stop on 62 & 100 mile routes.

All riders are required to wear an ANSI/Snell/CPSC approved HELMET while riding.

On-line registration closes at 11:59pm on Thursday, June 21.  Registration will be available on event day!
